MIDORI INOUE, MA

Director

Born in Buenos Aires as the daughter of an Argentine father and a Japanese mother, she grew up in a multicultural environment, fascinated by the contrast she perceived between the country where she lived until she was 28 years old and the Japanese customs and traditions that she acquired through the joy and affection she received from her Japanese grandparents. They would play a fundamental role in the creation of IKIGAI DAI.

With a working background in international trade in Buenos Aires, she found her true vocation once she started her career as a Spanish teacher while living in Japan.  Her studies at the Cervantes Institute of Tokio were followed by a specialisation and an M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (UDIMA, Distance University of Madrid, Spain). She also holds a Specialisation Diploma in English (Centro Universitario de Idiomas, Buenos Aires University) and the CELTA Cambridge Certificate.

Having experienced the great opportunity of teaching Spanish to seniors through the Senior Spanish course at Kobe City University of Foreign Studies, Midori’s great and main purpose of life is to develop and increase the immeasurable intrinsic value that Seniors, Lifelong learning and Language teaching/learning have for society.
